Youth Soccer – Rhea County Community Center (RC3) offers youth soccer both in the Fall and Spring seasons. RC3 values family involvement, healthy competition, and the value of participation over winning and team building. Parents are encouraged to become involved as coaches and team parents. Youth Volleyball – RC3 is also considering beginning a youth volleyball program.

Senior Activities: Silver Sneakers
SilverSneakers is an exercise group that offers proper and safe classes to the senior population (55+). Currently, two classes (SilverSneakers Classic & Silver Sneakers Cardio Circuit) are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. These classes run from 9AM to Noon. On Tuesday & Thursday, there is a SilverSneakers Yoga Class at 10 AM.
SilverSneakers Classic – Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercise designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. Chairs are available if needed for seated or
SilverSneakers Cardio Circuit – Get up and go with an aerobics class that is safe, heart-healthy, and gentle on joints. The workout includes easy-to-follow, low-impact movement and upper-body strength, abdominal conditioning, stretching and relaxation exercises designed to energize your active lifestyle.
SilverSneakers Yoga – Move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
